Once upon a time (okay, it was 2001), there was a girl named Stephanie. Fresh out of college, her first job was working way below her potential as a secretary at Indiana University. During her year there, one of the professors in her department went on vacation to the Galapagos Islands. When he returned, he had the most fantastic photos. Exotic birds. Gigantic tortoises. Him and his wife standing inches away from wild animals. Stephanie was astonished. She went home that day vowing to one day visit the Galapagos Islands herself.

Fast forward to 2011. Stephanie has worked her way into an amazing job in what could be the best career in the world. A job that sent her to the Galapagos Islands! In between training English teachers, she also got to stand inches away from the amazing wildlife and take her own fantastic photos. Here are the best of them. Don’t you just love a happy ending?
